Intuition Engine Proprietary Licence Version 1.0 Copyright (c) 2024-2026 Zayn Otley. All rights reserved. 1. Ownership and scope Zayn Otley (the Licensor) retains copyright in his original Intuition Engine code, documentation, artwork and other original project material (the Material). This licence transfers no copyright or ownership. This licence applies only to Material designated as proprietary. It does not replace the separate licences for SDK examples, SDK interfaces, third-party components or public-domain material. The accompanying LICENSING.md explains those boundaries. This licence does not withdraw rights already granted for earlier versions under another licence. 2. Free personal use of x64 and WebAssembly releases The Licensor grants an individual a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to download, install, run and make private backup copies of an authorised x64 live image or WebAssembly (WASM) release for that individual's personal, non-commercial use. This permission includes the supplied tools and documentation for that use. Personal, non-commercial use excludes use for an employer, client, business or other commercial activity. It does not permit redistribution, resale, sublicensing, public hosting or supply as part of another product or service. Sending a link to the Licensor's authorised download or demo page is permitted. Automatic browser delivery and local caching from that authorised demo are permitted for personal use. 3. Commercial use and redistribution Any commercial use or redistribution of proprietary Material requires a separate express written licence from Zayn Otley, or a sublicence issued within authority he has expressly granted. This applies whether the redistribution is free or paid and whether it is original or modified. Zayn Otley sets the commercial terms. This public licence grants no commercial-use, distribution, hosting or sublicensing rights. Raspberry Pi releases are proprietary. This public licence grants no general Raspberry Pi use or distribution permission. Use and distribution of those releases require separate authorisation from Zayn Otley or his expressly authorised licensee. 4. Company licensing authority Zayn Otley Cybersecurity BV may distribute the Material and grant distribution sublicences only within the scope of a separate express written authorisation from Zayn Otley. Such authorisation does not transfer his copyright. This public licence does not itself grant the BV authority, set commercial prices or execute an agreement with the BV. 5. Source and independent user work Access to proprietary source does not grant permission to publish, redistribute or sublicense it, or to distribute modified builds. No general right to modify proprietary Material is granted by this licence. Running Intuition Engine does not give the Licensor ownership of programs, data or output independently created by its users. Use of the MIT SDK interfaces does not require those users to adopt this proprietary licence. Copied SDK examples remain subject to their separate AGPL terms. 6. Separate rights and mandatory law Third-party notices, source-access rights and other component permissions remain in effect. The proprietary restrictions do not apply to those separately licensed components. They do not restrict rights granted for earlier GPL releases, AGPL examples, MIT interfaces or public-domain material. No trademark right is granted. Nothing in this licence limits rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude, including applicable rights to make necessary backup copies, observe, study or test software, or decompile for interoperability. Mandatory consumer rights remain in effect. 7. Warranty and liability To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Material is supplied "as is", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To that extent, the Licensor is not liable for loss or damage resulting from use of the Material. This exclusion does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. 8. Governing law Dutch law governs this licence. Mandatory protections under applicable Dutch and European Union law remain in effect, including any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules.
